I love everything about solar! My husband, Jim, and I are happy solar power homeowners.

You might be asking … “Why should I work with a Solar Energy Consultant?” Good Question! Here are a few reasons why Lisa Papp, a Solar Power Consultant since 2015, can help you:

Solar Power is technical and can be a bit confusing. I help make the information simple and understandable.

“I could just contact my local solar installer directly.”
Yes, you could. We love the local and regional solar installers! We work with them every day and have a network of the best local and regional installers that actually do the installation work for us. Solar installers are busy. Even if they have a dedicated marketing person, likely they will not be able to take the extra time to help you as I can. I have asked many homeowners in various states about their experiences getting bids from and working directly with a solar installer. 100% of people I asked said they had to do considerable research online to get the answers to all their questions.

Should I Own or Lease my Solar System? Unfortunately, some solar companies and some solar marketing folks sell people on solar leases without the homeowner even realizing the implications and limitations of a lease. If you lease your solar power system, you DO NOT receive the U.S. Solar ITC (Investment Tax Credit). The entity who owns the solar energy system receives the tax credit, not the lessee of the system. Also, if the time comes to sell your home and you have a solar lease, it can sometimes be complicated to transfer the lease to the buyer. The company I work with, Powur PBC, is all about education, transparency, and helping people make the best choices for solar and financing.

Will I pay extra to work with you? No. All solar installers have marketing and sales costs that are passed on to the customer … whether they have an in-house sales person or, most often, use independent sales people. Solar installers are busy doing what they do best … designing and installing systems.

I look forward to speaking with you to help you learn if solar is right for you and your home.
I help U.S. Homeowners in these U.S. states currently: California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland, and Washington D.C.. Please contact me today for a free solar assessment. Thank you!
